Okay, so the lights in our little town are all out by 10pm and you'll be lucky to find an expresso stand open past 9pm, but if you're hungry a littler earlier in the day, we have some great local eats you should definitely try!

Paso Del Norte
758 Peace Portal Dr, Blaine, WA 98230
(360) 332-4045
Real Mexican food that's quick, cheap and big portions. Just a few blocks South of the Peace Arch crossing and a mile from the Pacific Highway crossing.

Black Forest
638 Peace Portal Drive, Blaine, WA 98230
(360) 306-8342
Our absolute favorite restaurant when you want to treat yourself. Filet Mignon done to absolute perfection with to die for garlic mash potatoes. Or if you're in the mood for some German fare, the schnitzel is amazing along with the best red cabbage we've ever had. Don't leave without a helping of Christina's home made bread pudding (we recommend adding a side of ice cream). And if it happens to be your birthday, make sure you tell Jack as he'll be by to serenade Happy Birthday to you with his beautiful voice.

Bob's Burgers & Brew
8120 Birch Bay Square St.
, Blaine, WA 98231
(360) 366-3199
Great burgers in a pub atmosphere. Jack-in-the-Box is in the same complex if you're looking for burgers on-the-go! A few minutes south on I-5 after the border. If coming to our house after, take Birch Bay Lynden Road all the way to Blaine Road and turn left.

Packer's Lounge at Semiahmoo Resort
180 degree ocean view. Large deck only feet from the ocean. Summertime outdoor barbeques on the beach every Friday night with live music. Only a mile from our house out on the Semiahmoo spit, Packer's is one of our regular faves. Great for fish and chips, seafood cobb salad, burgers and more all in a pub environment with area for families and adults only.
